Admission requirements

Academic

-Have successfully completed high school studies.


Legal

-Those established by UANL current standards and procedures.


Testing

- Students must take the Admission Test EXANI-II, established by the National Center for the Evaluation of Higher Education (CENEVAL) and obtain the minimum passing score as indicated by the school.
- Diagnosis and selection module of the School of Agronomy.

- Take Introductory Course.


Labor market

Areas Job Description
Agriculture and livestock production systems.
  • Analysis of bromatology, water, soils, plant and animal tissues, microbial cultures, phytopathogenic and zoopathogenic agents, sustainable use of water, soils, crops, livestock, fauna, and natural resources. Evaluation and use of agrochemicals and farming equipment.
Basic laboratory tasks.
  • Research and developtment at public and private organisations of farming industry.
Development of rural assistance programs.
  • Provide professional services of organic farming, agricultural and urban spraying. Evaluation and farming consultancies, food safety, nursery management, green areas, controlled environments, reproduction, nutrition, livestock, and poultry

Graduation requirements

Academic

- Have successfully completed 198 academic credits.
- Having successfully completed a minimum of 9 semesters (4.5 years) or maximum of 18 semesters (9 years).
- Having complied with compulsory social service.
- Graduate must prove proficiency in a second language


Legal

- Those established by UANL current standards and procedures.
