Criteria for Admission to the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program

To be considered for admission to the Entrepreneurship and Innovation educational program, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

  • Verbal Ability: The ability to understand and analyze written texts effectively, and to communicate verbally with clarity and precision.
  • Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and the manipulation of numerical concepts through mathematical operations.
  • Experimental Science Skills: Knowledge and competence in fields such as chemistry, physics, and biology, including the ability to apply scientific principles to practical situations.
  • Social Science Skills: Understanding and proficiency in subjects like history, geography, social sciences, and civics, with the capability to analyze and interpret social phenomena.

Admission requirements

Academic

-Completion of high school or equivalent qualifications.


Legal

-Those prescribed by the current regulations and procedures of the University, or any additional requirements as deemed applicable.


Testing

-The student is required to undergo the entrance examination administered by UANL.


Program-specific

The student must participate in the following courses:

- Inductive course.
- Leveling courses in administrative and entrepreneurship areas.
- Propaedeutic course.


Graduation profile

Purpose

The goal is to train professionals in entrepreneurship and innovation. They will be capable of creating, managing, and transforming companies by identifying business opportunities and employing innovative systems and models. Additionally, they will develop profitable products and services creatively and promote them through direct and digital marketing tools, e-commerce, and social networks. These professionals will excel in managing marketing processes, conducting market research, developing brands, and fostering collaborative relationships. They will also demonstrate multidisciplinary skills in financial resource management and human resources administration, with a focus on leadership, respect, and adherence to regulations and social responsibility practices.

These professionals are known for their proactive approach and adeptness in analyzing and resolving organizational challenges. They demonstrate resilience, effective communication, and critical thinking skills essential for entrepreneurial success. Their primary objective is to address the evolving needs of consumers and customers, thereby fostering sustainable economic development for entrepreneurs and stakeholders.

-Fulfill the requirements for comprehensive formation as per the guidelines and procedures established by the School and UANL.
-Demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language by participating in the Institutional Program for English Language Learning (PIAII).
