UANL takes performing arts to Los Cabos international festival

Besides the creative and academic side, teachers and students from Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon promote arts in this beautiful destination in Baja California Sur.

Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon (UANL) is present at the 9th edition of the International Festival of Urban Performing Arts, which took place from November 19 to 27 in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.

Three students from the UANL School of Performing Arts participate in a contemporary dance proposal in Pa’h la calle 2022, and a performance evoking the first tuna packer in this tourist destination.

UANL representatives are Brisa Santana, Patricia Ortiz, and Cassandra Covarrubias, fifth-semester students of Contemporary Dance. They shared their scenic proposal in public squares in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.

According to the official program, Professor Emma Lozano offered a Graham technique workshop class on contemporary dance and Yory Gonzalez offered a seminar for participants from the performing arts community.

Los Cabos International Urban Performing Arts Festival is a cultural project that works on the recovery of the social network through the arts, according to the official announcement of Pa’h la calle 2022.
