Students from Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon will represent Mexico in the twenty-sixth edition of the RoboCup 2023 International Robotics Tournament in Bordeaux, France.

UANL’s delegation that will compete in this world-class event will be made up of four teams representing UANL High Schools 7 and 20, the Center for Research and Development of Bilingual Education (CIDEB), and the UANL School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, in the categories On Stage, Rescue Maze, Rapidly Manufactured Challenge and Rescue Line, respectively.

We are very proud that our students will become ambassadors of Mexico in the Robocup 2023 international tournament, which this year will be held in France. This important achievement of our students and professors positions UANL as a national and world reference in the robotics field”.

In-house talent

Students from UANL high schools and schools have constantly participated in national and international robotics tournaments thanks to the fact that for almost 10 years this academic institution has been developing the talent of young people through internal tournaments.

“At the University, every semester we hold an intra-college tournament in which around 300 students from the 29 departments at this level participate. Afterward, the first places are obtained from here and then they go to compete in the national robotics tournament to represent UANL,” said Diana Amaro Fernandez.
