UANL partners with GHU Paris Psychiatrie and Neurosciences

Stefan Fernández Zambrano, head of the Department of Psychiatry at Hospital Universitario, informed that the collaboration agreement with the GHU Paris Psychiatry aims to strengthen the social insertion of patients.

Educating Latin American psychiatrists so that they can help their patients to reintegrate into society and the labor market is one of the objectives of the agreement signed between Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon and GHU Paris Psychiatry and Neurosciences.

The Head of the Department of Psychiatry of UANL University Hospital, Stefan Mauricio Fernandez Zambrano, reported that this partnership was already in place since 2018, however, it was decided to renew it in order to deepen therapeutic monitoring and community psychiatry further.

The aim is to complement this aspect of psychotherapeutic treatment in order to socially reintegrate the patients into society because many of them have undergone psychiatric treatment, yet the reintegration process is still incomplete. We have chosen to renew the agreement with GHU Paris because they are experts in these areas”.
