UANL one step closer to internationalization

Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon celebrates 89 years of life with the strong commitment that our academic institution is a national reference with an international impact.

“We are in this internationalization process so we have graduates of international academic level holding a double degree. UANL graduates can go anywhere in the world with adequate academic knowledge in different languages. Every year, around 500 students go abroad,” said UANL President Santos Guzman Lopez.

All these efforts align with the commitments and goals set forth in the Institutional Development Plan and the 2030 Vision.

President Santos Guzman Lopez recalled that Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon officially began its work when the colleges and the first courses of jurisprudence, medicine, nursing, and obstetrics were brought together in 1933 to formalize the education of students from the northeast of the country.

In almost nine decades of academic, cultural, sports, and scientific endeavors, our Maximum Academic Institution has grown in coverage and infrastructure. It has consolidated its position as a quality institution whose educational programs and administrative processes are certified and accredited by national and international organizations. This ensures that university students receive excellent attention and education.
