Edith Segura stands out in Para Swimming World Series 2022

Edith Segura, a UANL student at the School of Physical Education, has obtained the victory and is confident to participate in the qualifying process on the road to the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris.

Edith Maribel Segura Cabello had a brilliant performance at the Swimming World Series 2022 in Berlin. She is part of the Mexican Delegation and traveled to Germany along with 12 paralympic athletes with the sole purpose of participating in the international competition as part of their qualifying process for the Madeira 2022 Para Swimming World Championships.

Edith Maribel Segura Cabello is part of the Mexican Para-swimming team, along with Ana Laura Morales, Angel de Jesus Camacho, and Diego Lopez.

Together with Fabiola Ramirez, Fernando Martinez, Jesus Hernandez, Juan Jose Gutierrez, Karina Hernandez, Marcos Zarate, Patricia Valle and Raul Gutierrez Bermudez.

At the same time, Edith will continue with her studies at the UANL School of Physical Education, where she can rely on the support from her professors to complete her training while keeping up with her exams and academic activities.

For now, Edith Maribel is aiming to qualify for the 2023 Parapan American Games in Santiago de Chile, which will serve as a warm-up for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.
