Festival de Fotografía Internacional en León (FFIEL) invites you to participate in the:

6th University Photography World Cup

All those who send their photographs will receive a diploma for having participated, which will be issued by the FFIEL and by the participating Institutions.

The Diploma is free of charge and will be sent digitally.

30,000 Mexican pesos in prizes

The event is aimed at amateur and professional photographers, and high school and undergraduate students, regardless of age, nationality, or profession.

Terms:

The Festival de Fotografía Internacional en León (FFIEL) aware of its responsibility to society, directs the present contest “Alternate Routes” to high school and university students, regardless of school, age, area of study, city or country of origin.

Objective: to collect photographs that represent different feelings and emotions through the eyes of students, such as Hope, joy, solidarity, resilience, effort, discipline, and respect, among others.

The selected photographs will be part of an international exhibition that will tour the following partner institutions for one year: Universidad De La Salle Bajío, UNAM ENES León, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Instituto Politécnico Nacional, Ibero León, Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes, Universidad Anáhuac de Querétaro, ITESO Guadalajara, Instituto Oviedo, UNITEC and the Museo de Arte e Historia de Guanajuato. As long as health and safety protocols allow us to do so.

Awards:

For this Cup, we have 2 categories: The conventional Category (All Universities enter) and the Organizing Universities Category.

Between both categories will be distributed $30,000.00 mx in prizes (economic and/or in-kind) distributed among the First Three Places. These prizes may increase depending on the amount of sponsorships received for this Cup.

– The judging panel will select 30 photographs that will make up the exhibition.

– The prizes will be awarded at the opening of the exhibition in December 2023 at the Museum of Art and History of Guanajuato. If any of the winners is unable to attend the ceremony, the prize will be delivered to the place indicated, at the winner’s expense.
