Degrees in Humanities internationally awarded

The international accreditation agency AcreditAcción granted international accreditation for the next six years to the undergraduate programs in Philosophy, History, and Hispanic Letters of the School of Philosophy and Literature (FFYL by its acronym in Spanish).

The documents endorsing the educational quality of the three humanities degrees were signed on May 31 but released on June 22 by the agency AcreditAcción, which was recently recognized as the best Latin American accrediting agency by the New World Report 2021.

Collaborative work

In addition to the commitment of students, alumni, and employers, it is important to mention the work of José Luis Cisneros, Coordinator of the School of Philosophy; José Luis Cavazos, Coordinator of the School of History; and Xóchitl Muñiz, Coordinator of the School of Hispanic Literature.

Meanwhile, the president of the accrediting association expressed compliments to the authorities of the School and UANL, emphasizing that it is not easy to accredit three programs simultaneously, and even less, to achieve six years of accreditation in each one of them.
