Motivation to achieve dreams

President Rogelio Garza conducted a farewell ceremony for the 278 students who will spend the next terms abroad. The principals and deans of our schools, family, and friends attended the event as well.

‘’Making sure our students have the necessary skills to deal with change is now more important than ever. This is part of the comprehensive education and new global vision we want for all of them”, he stated.

Students Adriana Moreno and Ian Cavazos shared their past overseas experiences in France and Spain, respectively.

Europe is the favorite destination

Over 50 percent of our students will go on academic exchanges in countries such as Germany, Spain, France, and the Czech Republic.

Mechanical engineering student Miriam Lara will spend one year at the Institut national des sciences appliquees de Lyon in France. “I found their mechanical design program back in high school and I’ve wanted to study there since then. The classes are excellent and they have advanced technology so I’m very excited to learn a lot from everything”, she commented.

Other European destinations are Austria, Belgium, Slovenia, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, the United Kingdom, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, and Ukraine. Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, the United States, Mexico, Paraguay, and Peru were the chosen countries of the Americas. In Asia and Africa, South Korea, China, Japan, Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco will host our students.
