The venue was the Center for Digital Education and Entrepreneurship of our Maximum Academic Institution.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-88126\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uanl.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/AMECYD2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Assuming this role represents a significant step for me because even though the pandemic forced us to offer online learning and today we are moving back to traditional face-to-face education, online learning must also be a pillar for universities, as well as for the growth of the development of their processes&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Santos Guzm\u00e1n L\u00f3pez<br \/>\n<\/strong>UANL President and AMECYD Vicepesident<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He also highlighted that this organism was relevant two years ago for higher education institutions since it helped the country&#8217;s universities to continue with their work and strengthen their educational processes.<\/p>\n<p>In this same sense, AMECYD President Rafael L\u00f3pez Casta\u00f1ares, who officially appointed UANL President, stated that having hybrid and distance education models is a very valuable opportunity that must be taken advantage of today.<\/p>\n<p>The Asociaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Educaci\u00f3n Continua y a Distancia has been working in this field for more than three decades. Among the main affiliated universities are Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey, Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de San Luis Potos\u00ed, Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Tamaulipas, and Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Zacatecas, among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After the pandemic, universities adopted virtual and hybrid models, in addition to the traditional face-to-face model.
