This research line commits us to continue exploring, from an academic perspective, how to build a public policy that favors the development of companies, innovation, and investment&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jorge Omar Moreno Trevi\u00f1o<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Researcher<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-87856\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uanl.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/premio3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The contest is hosted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imef.org.mx\/\">Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF)<\/a> and the international consulting firm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ey.com\/es_mx\">Ernst &amp; Young<\/a>, which for the past 38 years has been honoring research papers related to finance, business, administration, accounting, and economics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A groundbreaking contribution<br \/>\n<\/strong>Three years ago, Lianet Farfan and Jorge Moreno, researchers at the <a href=\"https:\/\/economia.uanl.mx\/\">UANL School of Economics<\/a>, and Maria Adamuz, a scientist at the Business School of Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM), decided to analyze the problems that Mexican companies face concerning funding for their projects and activities, particularly the structure of and access to credit.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-87858\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uanl.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/premio4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The IMEF-EY 2022 International Financial Research Award was presented on November 11 at the 50th IMEF National Convention: Digital Economy: Transforming Industry in Mexico, which took place in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An analysis of the financial debt of 93 Mexican companies listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) led Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon to obtain a second place in the IMEF-EY 2022 International Financial Research Award.
