The award is presented by the Architectural Membrane Association.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Architectural Membrane Association (AMA) is a Germany-based organization that promotes tensile architecture worldwide. The association recognizes innovation and best design practices in sustainable construction.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-114739\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uanl.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/membrana3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The project consists of a membrane structure designed to make the garden at the school more comfortable. Since the space lacks protection from sun and rain, the design was developed to address those conditions\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abril Luna S\u00e1nchez<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>UANL Student<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThese materials are relatively new. They are used in stadiums, buildings, and school roofs because they are highly versatile, easy to shape, and readily available\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The proposal was designed to span a 15-meter diameter and reach a height of more than seven meters.
