class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW261888674 BCX0\"> a<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW261888674 BCX0\"> proposal <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW261888674 BCX0\">that contributes to the solution of problems in the aerospace sector.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW261888674 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:480}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">The <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">winner <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">t<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">eam<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">, that goes<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\"> by<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\"> the name of<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW81046864 BCX0\">Luminys<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">was <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">formed by Valenzuela Chapa and seven members more, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">through <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">which<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">six <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">are <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">Mexicans and one <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">Guatemal<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">a<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">n<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">. Winning <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">among 60 students from all over the world<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW81046864 BCX0\">their proposal could be applied in NASA&#8217;s international space program Artemis, which seeks to take astronauts back to the Moon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-106405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uanl.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/UANLNASA1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\">\u2018\u2018<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\">It <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\">was a dream c<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\">ome <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun ContextualSpellingAndGrammarErrorV2Themed SCXW198246134 BCX0\">true,\u2019<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\">\u2019<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\"> she <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\">mentioned<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\">. \u2018\u2018I knew about this <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\">competition since I was <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\">in <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\">first grade, back when I was 17. Even then I <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\">really wanted to go, but I had no <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\">idea<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198246134 BCX0\"> what to do as a proposal, and I was very inexperienced in other aspects.\u2019\u2019<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW198246134 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:480}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW21740030 BCX0\">University President\u2019 Santos Guzm\u00e1n L\u00f3pez<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW21740030 BCX0\"> congratulated the university<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW21740030 BCX0\"> student, who was able to <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW21740030 BCX0\">demonstrate<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW21740030 BCX0\">to the scientific community the <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW21740030 data-contrast=\"auto\">Valenzuela Chapa\u2019s team bio-coating proposal is made from lunar regolith, a cyanobacterium capable of producing oxygen, as well as protecting itself from UV radiation, able to resist against a large amount of gamma and UV radiation.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:480}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u2018\u2018The bacteria and cyanobacteria help each other to survive, which leads the cyanobacteria to produce oxygen, something relevant to us, since the oxygen produced is BCX0\">\u2018\u2018Meanwhile<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW162510633 BCX0\">, the radiation-resistant bacteria will produce proteins and a biofilm,\u2019<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW162510633 BCX0\">\u2019 s<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW162510633 BCX0\">he added, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW162510633 BCX0\">\u2018\u2018<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW162510633 BCX0\">and once <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW162510633 BCX0\">the<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW162510633 BCX0\">se blends<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun BCX0\">team<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW4760947 BCX0\">, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW4760947 BCX0\">will have <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW4760947 BCX0\">to <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW4760947 BCX0\">complete <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW4760947 BCX0\">the <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW4760947 BCX0\">necessary<\/span><span
