Intending to enhance internationalization across all its programs, Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon celebrated a series of cooperation agreements and strategic alliances with various institutions worldwide in the last semester.<\/p>\n

During the inaugural annual meeting of the University’s International Advisory Board (CCI)<\/strong>, UANL President Santos Guzman Lopez underscored the significance of this endeavor, attributing its success to the dedication and commitment of the University’s directors, professors, researchers, and students.<\/p>\n

Last semester, notable agreements were inked with the University of Perugia in Italy<\/a>, the University of Cordoba<\/a> in Spain, and the University of Porto<\/a> in Portugal.<\/p>\n

Together with the University of Perugia, the UANL introduced the new Master’s Degree in Human Rights and New Technologies, a dual-degree program to be overseen by the School of Law and Criminology.<\/p>\n

To enhance academic, scientific, and cultural collaboration, the University of Oporto, facilitated by the School of Sports Organization, has signed a bilateral mobility agreement with the University of Oporto.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the institution concluded a targeted exchange agreement with the University of C\u00f3rdoba, set to initially benefit the communities of the School of Law and Criminology<\/a>, as well as the School of Political Science and International Relations.<\/p>\n

In addition to the 244 existing agreements, encompassing double degrees, thesis co-supervision, academic exchanges, letters of intent, and special projects, these collaboration agreements further enhance the University’s global network.<\/p>\n

Among the 31 countries with which we have alliances are Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Italy, Japan, Peru, Portugal, Spain, and the United States..<\/p>\n

Throughout the January-June semester, 530 undergraduate students, 36 graduate students, and 25 professors engaged in academic mobility programs in countries including Germany, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Korea, Costa Rica, Spain, the United States, France, Poland, and the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n

During the same period, 279 undergraduate students, 42 graduate students, and 14 professors from other universities in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Korea, Spain, the United States, Japan, Peru, and Russia participated in academic stays at UANL.<\/p>\n

Cross-Institutional Collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n

To facilitate the exchange of research insights, the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Nuevo Le\u00f3n has forged an inter-institutional cooperation pact focused on political science and international relations with the University of Heidelberg, Germany.<\/p>\n
