<\/p>\nThe Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Nuevo Le\u00f3n (UANL) and the University of Perugia (UNIPG) have joined forces to commence work on establishing an academic cooperation agreement. This partnership is geared towards developing a double degree program for the Master’s Degree in Human Rights and New Technologies.<\/p>\n
The document was signed by UANL President Santos Guzm\u00e1n L\u00f3pez, Maurizio Oliviero, the counterpart from the Italian institution, and Susana M\u00e9ndez Arellano, the President of the Nuevo Le\u00f3n State Human Rights Commission.<\/p>\n
This alliance with the Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Perugia will facilitate the development of a unified strategy for scientific and educational cooperation, promoting exchanges between the institutions involved.<\/p>\n

Promoting Academic Exchange<\/strong><\/p>\n UANL President extended his gratitude to Dr. Maurizio Oliviero and his team for the warm reception at the university, which boasts a long-standing history dating back to its founding in 1308. \u00a0He acknowledged the institution’s impressive academic community, comprising 23,500 students and 1,100 professors and researchers across its 16 academic departments.<\/p>\n During his visit to the central region of the Italian peninsula, Guzm\u00e1n L\u00f3pez toured the Law School of UNIPG, underscoring UANL’s commitment to expanding its international presence. The objective is to deliver high-quality education and facilitate exchanges that enrich both students and academic staff.<\/p>\n A master’s program combining new technologies and human rights is set to be launched.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Master in Human Rights and New Technologies is a postgraduate program that will be developed in collaboration with the University of Perugia, renowned as one of the oldest law universities globally.<\/p>\n The two-year master’s degree will be conducted online, with instruction provided by a team of European professors led by Dr. Roberto Cippitani from the Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Perugia, as well as Mexican professors. Additionally, upon reaching a certain credit threshold, students will have the opportunity to attend a workshop in Perugia.
