UANL Academic Programs Receive Quality Certificate
UANL academic programs in Administration, International Business, and Public Accountant are leading nationally.
The Council of Administrative Sciences Accreditation Agency (CACECA , for its acronym in Spanish) confirms educational quality of three UANL academic programs.
For the third time, the Council of Administrative Sciences confirmed accreditation of UANL academic programs in Administration, International Business, and Public Accountant, during a ceremony held on February 15, at “Jose Moreno Perez” auditorium.
UANL President Rogelio Garza Rivera, and the Dean of the School of Accounting and Business Management, Maria Eugenia Garcia de la Peña, received the official documents.
CACECA President Eduardo Avalos Lira highlighted the work of the UANL and its professors, scholars, and students for maintaining excellence standards and becoming national leaders.
"To receive this reaccreditation, ten regulatory categories had to be assessed. Our professors, students, research, infrastructure, and student mobility program underwent evaluation as well," Avalos Lira stated.
These acknowledgements, which are certified by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (COPAES), are valid for five years as of November 2017.
"We are driven by the work of our professors, academic groups, coordinators, and heads of degree areas in devoting to this evaluation culture."
"We praise the quality of these academic programs and the commitment to the continuous improvement of our students," President Rogelio Garza Rivera affirmed.
Among the guests were professors and students of the School of Accounting and Business Management, together with the heads of the reaccredited undergraduate degree programs: Jorge Garza Ortiz (Public Accounting), Sandra Maribel Torres Mansur (Administration), and Arturo Tavizon Salazar (International Business).
