Registration for Open High School Applicants
Allocation of spaces in Upper Intermediate Education for open high school
The University Senate Academic Committee, in accordance with the General Regulations on students admission and permanence procedures, and those established by the University Senate
Anyone interested in undertaking upper intermediate education studies in any of UANL schools that offer the open system to participate in the allocation of spaces, which shall be subject to the following:
1st. PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS
A) The participating schools are those offering the Open System and are included in the participating school directory.
B) If more specific information is needed, the applicant should go to the participating school he/she selected or to the Information Desk of the UANL Department of Assessment Center, Ciudad Universitaria, San Nicolas de los Garza, Nuevo Leon.
A) Test registration will be online; the applicant must provide true information.
B) The applicant must have his/her junior high school certificate or be about to obtain it prior to registration.
C) For registration, the applicant must take into account the following:

D) The applicant must meet the following requirements:
a) Fill out the registration application form.
b) Have the Personal Number (CURP) in an official format.
c) Have his/her Junior High School Certificate.
d) Pay the corresponding fee.
e) Verify additional requirements at the school of registration
3rd. PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION
During the official period for registration and taking into account the requirements, the applicant must:
A) Access the website where the official invitation of the event is published and select the test registration link.
B) Provide basic information in order to generate and print his/her pre-registration form.
C) Pay for the test at the bank specified on his/her pre-registration form. This will give him/her the right to take the test.
D) After making the payment, he/she will receive at the school of registration the Test Guide with the list of topics he/she will study for the test. The Test Guide can be downloaded from Internet as well.
E) Access the website of the official invitation, select the data entry link and log in with his/her registration number and password to enter the information requested to complete the personal information survey.
F) Print the registration confirmation form from the abovementioned site.
G) Go to the school of registration to attend the appointment mentioned in his/her registration confirmation form, in order to have his/her photo taken and receive the test confirmation form as well as support material. The applicant must bring:
a) The registration confirmation form.
b) The registration application form
c) Proof of payment.
d) Personal Number (CURP) (original and copy).
e) Junior High School Certificate (original and copy).
H) Attend the exam on the date printed on the test confirmation form.
4th. THE TEST
A) It will be on the date and at the hour indicated in the test confirmation form.
B) The applicant must be on time in the indicated classroom, 30 minutes before the appointed hour.
C) He/she must bring the test confirmation form and pencils number 2-1/2.
D) Under no circumstances the test will be held in a different place or at a different hour.
E) The test, which is in a multiple-choice format, consists of 228 questions that evaluate skills (verbal and numerical) and basic knowledge on the study plan and official curriculum of Junior High School.
5th. APPLICANT ALLOCATION OF SPACES
A) Applicants will be assigned to the schools of their choice according to the following procedure:
a) Lists will be made with the name of the applicants that selected the same school.
b) The names of the applicants will be listed in descending order according to the test score.
c) Preference will be given to applicants with the highest scores whenever the demand is greater than the school capacity.
d) A list in descending order will be made with the name of the applicants that were not assigned to the school of their choice; those students must go to the UANL Department of Assessment Center where they will be informed of their test scores and will be relocated in any of the schools available.
A) Results will be published at the school where the applicant took the test, on the date indicated to the applicant when he/she took the exam.
B) Two different lists will be published: one of the applicants accepted and one of applicants that were not accepted.
C) Not accepted applicants have the opportunity to make a new registration to participate in the following test marked on the test administration calendar.
D) Accepted applicants will receive information about admissions to UANL and the School.
A) In order to be registered in one of the UANL Open Schools participating in this event, the applicant must:
a) Meet the registration requirements established by the UANL Department of Student Records.
b) Meet the school requirements.
B) The complete information about the admission will be provided by the school assigned to the applicant.
A) What is established herein is the only way to be admitted to any of UANL open schools.
B) Applicants who participate in any illegal activity, contrary to any provision established herein, will be immediately dropped.
C) Anything not contemplated herein will be determined by the Academic Committee of the UANL University Senate.

Test Registration Link. The applicant must access this link and read the following instructions in order to begin his/her pre-registration. This link will be available only on the official dates indicated for test registration.
Data Entry Link. The applicant will use this link after making the pre-registration and the test payment. Fill out the Personal Information survey and print the Registration Confirmation Form.
